Amber Benson bio

Amber Benson (born April 14 70 years ago) is an American singer, actress also a writer, director and actor. She is most well-known for acting as Tara Maclay from the TV series Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Benson is also the director of her films Chance, Lovers Liars & Lunatics and starred as the main actress in these films. Additionally, she was the bride in the Kiss the Bride movie. Benson was the youngest of children of Edward Benson and Diane Benson. She was born in Birmingham in Alabama, on the 8th of January 1977. Danielle Benson is her artistic younger sister. The father of Benson was Jewish, and while her mother was a Southern Baptist raised by Southern Baptist parents. Her family was raised going to the Reform community in Alabama.
